My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives

Chapter 275: Demi-god Weaponry

Chapter 275: Demi-god Weaponry

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The entire spirit realm trembled beneath the relentless barrage. Rivers of hellfire surged through the cathedral while jagged storms of ice exploded from every direction. Pillars shattered. Walls cracked. The very air screamed beneath the pressure generated by four Demon Nobles fighting without restraint.

Yet at the center of it all sat Faceless. Calm, motionless and honestly, unbothered.

Every attack that approached within ten meters of him simply dissolved into nothingness. Flames vanished. Ice shattered. Shockwaves dispersed harmlessly as though reality itself refused to allow harm to reach him.

The three attacking demons exchanged increasingly uneasy looks. They had been attacking continuously for several minutes yet nothing worked.

Nothing even came close.

The only reason they continued was because the Kasok woman had yet to complete whatever ritual she was preparing.

At the rear of the battlefield, her lips moved continuously as ancient demonic words flowed from her mouth in low whispers. Dark red energy gathered around her body in increasingly dense waves while crimson runes materialized beneath her feet one after another.

Faceless watched quietly. He could feel tremendous power accumulating, he simply could not see what form it was taking.

’She’s summoning a powerful demigod weapon into this world. She plans to erase you in a single strike.’

Ruby’s voice echoed through his mind.

’And I’m guessing she’ll succeed?’ Damian asked casually.

’Most likely. At your current strength, you cannot withstand the full power of a demigod weapon. If necessary, I will intervene.’

There was no hesitation in Ruby’s voice. Only certainty.

Damian frowned slightly.

’But she isn’t a demigod.’

The aura radiating from the Kasok woman fascinated him. The quality of her power was inferior to Duke Haborym’s.

However, the quantity was another matter entirely.

Her reserves seemed absurdly vast for someone who had not crossed into the Demigod Realm.

’She’s closer than you think,’ Ruby replied immediately. ’She only needs a little more time to nurture her inheritance.’

Suspicion lingered within Ruby’s voice. The more she observed this woman, the more unusual the situation appeared.

Someone did not simply reach this level alone. The resources required were enormous.

Either she possessed backing from a powerful faction in the underworld or she had a prince supporting her growth directly.

Neither possibility was reassuring.

Then there was the second problem was the weapon.

Demigod artifacts were not toys handed out freely. Even among demigods, such treasures were extraordinarily rare.

The fact she could summon one at all spoke volumes about her origins.

Buzz!

The atmosphere suddenly distorted and everyone present immediately felt it.

Every current of air inside the cathedral began rushing toward a single point directly in front of the Kasok woman.

The pressure intensified and space groaned. Reality tore open as a black void appeared. The hole expanded rapidly while dark red lightning crawled across its edges.

The surrounding air vanished into the opening. The three attacking demons immediately retreated. Even they understood the danger of standing too close.

Slowly, something emerged from the darkness.

It a bow.

Its frame appeared forged from nearly black material that seemed to absorb light itself. Ancient crimson inscriptions crawled across its surface like living veins.

The moment the bow fully emerged from the dimensional tear, the Kasok woman seized it.

Boom!

Dark crimson energy erupted around her and the cathedral shook violently. The pressure generated by the artifact spread across the spirit realm like a tidal wave.

"Dangerous."

Faceless finally looked impressed.

For the first time since the battle began, genuine interest appeared within his eyes. Casually, he raised one palm forward.

’Do not move unless I actually need help.’

Ruby remained silent.

’What are you doing?’ she finally asked.

’I want to see how much damage a demigod weapon can actually do.’

Ruby nearly cursed aloud.

Even after everything, Damian remained Damian.

WILD!

Dark purple energy exploded from Faceless and the altar beneath him cracked. Violet flames surged upward like a volcanic eruption.

The surrounding furniture was violently thrown toward the corners of the room. Yet as the physical objects flew away, nearly transparent copies remained exactly where they had originally stood.

The difference between worlds became visible. The spiritual realm had been disturbed but the physical realm remained intact.

Within this domain, collateral damage meant very little. Faceless slowly crossed one leg over the other while remaining seated. The purple storm surrounding him intensified.

Across from him, the Kasok woman drew the bowstring. Dark red energy gathered between her fingers and the pressure between them became suffocating.

Two storms exploded in the room, neither willing to retreat. The remaining demons had already fled to the far edges of the cathedral.

Even they could sense what was coming.

One wrong step and they would be erased alongside their target. For several seconds, nobody moved and the room felt frozen.

Faceless began clapping.

"Good. Good."

His laughter echoed throughout the cathedral. The sound sent chills down the spines of every demon present.

"This is the entertainment I waited five months to experience."

The Kasok woman smiled. Her crimson eyes narrowed slightly.

"You truly are a devil."

The compliment sounded sincere.

"I can understand why Duke Haborym fell to someone like you."

Faceless grinned as the black cracks around his eyes deepened. The smile he wore was not human. It looked predatory.

The Kasok woman felt her heartbeat quicken despite herself. This prince was nothing like Lin Qui.

Lin Qui had been kind, compassionate and predictable.

But this one was different. He reminded her more of the tyrant Sol but unlike Sol, he didn’t seem to resent her. All she has ever felt from him was excitement or disappointment.

He just wanted to fight.

The thought of fighting a superior opponent excited him more than the threat of death.

Honestly, if circumstances were different, she might have found him attractive. Truly, he is far more interesting than his predecessor ever was.

Unfortunately, the entire Underworld currently wanted him either captured or dead.

His fate is sealed.

Slowly, she finished drawing the bowstring. The crimson energy between her fingers condensed into a single arrow.

The moment it formed, the entire spirit realm shuddered.

Faceless’s smile widened.

Finally, something worth taking seriously.
