Chapter 616: The Prime Expanse Hierarchy
Chapter 616: The Prime Expanse Hierarchy
"The l... lower framework is gone?" she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
A cold sweat broke out across her back as the full weight of what she was seeing settled in.
"It’s... completely gone. How is that even possible?"
All beings within the Prime Expanse were, of course, aware of the Lower Framework. Under certain circumstances, they could even travel below.
What they didn’t know—well, the Wardens at least—was what this truly meant for the Prime Expanse itself.
Before she could recover from the shock, the vision shifted.
This time, she spotted two women standing in one of the Thresholds nearest to the Wall of Death — the massive barrier holding the battlefield that divided Existence from Nonexistence.
The air around them was thick with tension, and the distant Wall of Death loomed behind them like a living monument, its surface still faintly trembling from the earlier cataclysm.
The first woman had long, radiant golden hair that cascaded down her back and light golden eyes that glowed with a calm, divine intensity.
Her skin was pale and luminous, almost ethereal under the fractured light of the Prime Expanse.
Behind her head floated a faint, golden halo-like ring that pulsed with a soft, holy light.
She wore elegant yet battle-worn golden armor, its design both regal and practical, with faint inscriptions glowing along the plates.
She stood with quiet composure, as if she had already accepted whatever storm was coming.
The second woman was a Seraph.
She possessed long, flowing white hair and twelve massive, pure white wings that were currently half-folded behind her.
Her armor was silver-white, etched with intricate patterns that shimmered faintly with hidden power.
Unlike the first woman, her expression was sharper, more guarded, as her piercing eyes scanned the horizon near the Wall of Death.
She carried herself like a warrior who had seen far too much.
[A/N: Long time no see.... Eve and Eliya! Lol, if you don’t remember them, just check the discord or check Chapters (142, 290-297)] ;)

These two women, they were clearly above the position of even Wardens and Victorious didn’t recognize either of them.
Her Victory Sight left no room for doubt—it was crystal clear.
Those two women were the key... the keys to victory.
Whether they were behind the destruction or the only hope of stopping it, her gift had singled them out as the answer she’d been searching for.
Her glowing red and white eyes slowly dimmed, returning to their normal golden color as the vision faded.
She stood there in silence, her breathing slightly uneven, one hand gripping the railing of the balcony tightly.
Destiny watched her carefully from the side, her expression growing more concerned by the second.
"...What did you see?" she finally asked.
Victorious didn’t answer right away.
She simply stared out at the cracking sky of the Prime Expanse, her expression dark and deeply troubled, as if she were still trying to process the weight of what her talent had shown her.
Victorious remained silent for a few more seconds, her golden eyes still fixed on the fracturing sky.
She took a slow, deep breath, steadying herself before finally turning to face Destiny.
"What I saw..." she began, her voice low and heavy, "was that the entire Lower Framework is gone."
Destiny’s expression shifted instantly.
"What do you mean ’gone’?" she asked, her brows furrowing.
Victorious locked eyes with her.
"Tch, I mean it’s completely gone. There are no Realities anymore—no multiverses no dimensions, nothing. Everything beneath the Prime Expanse has turned into an endless white void."
At this revelation, Destiny’s face paled.
She instinctively took a small step back, her silver hair shifting as she processed Victorious’s words.
For a being who embodied Inevitable Paths, hearing that entire layers of existence had simply vanished was deeply unsettling.
"That... that can’t be right," Destiny muttered, almost to herself. "Even if the lower frameworks were damaged, something should still remain. Erasure on that scale... it shouldn’t be possible."
Victorious shook her head slowly.
"I’m not sure how it happened, but my sight doesn’t lie—it’s gone."
She paused for a moment before speaking again, her voice calmer and more deliberate.
"As Wardens, we both understand the rules."
Things worked much like in any other army or group of individuals staring down something far bigger than themselves.
They didn’t act on gut feelings or vague possibilities—they needed solid, undeniable proof.
It was a principle they both recognized, and it meant that if they wanted any real recognition or credibility from this mission, they had to be directly involved, right there in the thick of it.
"If we bring this to the higher-ups with nothing more than a vision, they’ll brush us off at best... or worse, punish us for stirring up panic."
Destiny stayed quiet, listening intently.
Victorious crossed her arms and laid out their options plainly.
"We have two choices." She said before continuing.
"One — we track down those two women I saw in the vision and find out how they’re connected to all of this. If we can gather solid evidence, we report it properly and might actually earn something from this mess."
She paused again, her expression turning more serious.
"Or two — we report what I saw right now and leave it in the hands of those above us. Because honestly... this situation is already far beyond what either of us can handle alone."
Destiny looked out at the cracking sky for a long moment, her expression conflicted. The distant wail of the Death Wall still echoed faintly in the background.
After a moment, she spoke.
"...We investigate first," she said with resolve.
She still had no idea how this tied to the two foxes she’d glimpsed through the Narrative, or to Kaguya—the one who had simply vanished from her awareness altogether.
But she knew one thing: this wouldn’t be for nothing.
"If we report it now without anything solid, we’ll just look like two Wardens who panicked. I came to you for answers, not to pass this off to someone else and hope they figure it out."
She turned back to Victorious, her expression firm.
"If those two women really are the key, then we track them down. We figure out exactly what they know, and then we decide our next move."
Victorious regarded her in silence for a moment before giving a brief nod.
"Alright," she said. "We’ll do it your way. But the second things get too dangerous, we pull back. Got it?"
Destiny gave a short nod in return.
"Got it."
