Chapter 593: Truly Filthy
Chapter 593: Truly Filthy
"Sister Ning really has a point!" Shen Mumu mused, finding herself in complete agreement with Tang Xinig’s words.
Meanwhile, Tong Zhiyi put on an air of maturity and said, "Those senior students of ours who enter the entertainment industry often become prey for wealthy tycoons. They are frequently forced to attend drinking parties, and if they get drunk, they might be taken away by one of them. Sister Ning has a point. It’s not just Ling’er; we all need to build up our alcohol tolerance."
Ye Xiu was completely flabbergasted by Shen Mumu and Tong Zhiyi’s innocence. Young people these days really are too naive, lacking any of society’s harsh lessons!
Seeing Shen Mumu and Tong Zhiyi agree with her, Tang Xinig continued, "Building alcohol tolerance isn’t something you can do overnight, but we should at least know our own limits. That way, when we attend drinking parties in the future, we’ll know when to stop."
Now, even Ye Lin’er felt that Tang Xinig had a point. "Alright then," she said, "let’s test our limits at lunch today."
"Good, let’s toast!" Tang Xinig raised her glass at the perfect moment.
"Cheers!" Ye Lin’er, Shen Mumu, and Tong Zhiyi all raised their glasses.
The four of them downed their drinks in one go. Tang Xinig then refilled everyone’s glasses and urged Shen Mumu and Tong Zhiyi to toast Ye Lin’er. This time, they didn’t refuse, and Ye Lin’er didn’t decline either.
Ye Xiu sighed from outside the private room. Every member of the Ye Family was as cunning as a monkey, except for Ye Lin’er. Raised by her maternal grandparents, she was as naive as a blank slate. With a personality like that, she was bound to suffer a great loss sooner or later! No, not sooner or later—she was about to suffer a great loss right now!
Ye Xiu didn’t go in to stop them. He wanted to see what Tang Xinig’s objective was in getting Ye Lin’er drunk. He paid the bill and waited outside for what was to come.
With drinks flowing freely, Ye Lin’er, Shen Mumu, and Tong Zhiyi completely let loose, drinking one glass after another. All the while, Tang Xinig kept urging them on without drinking a drop herself.
Soon, Ye Lin’er, Shen Mumu, and Tong Zhiyi were so drunk they began to talk nonsense, unable to even find their mouths with their raised glasses.
"Come over," Tang Xinig said into her phone after seeing their state.
Then, Ye Xiu, who was waiting outside the Spicy Grandma Restaurant, saw a black RV pull up and stop at the entrance. Two bodyguards got out and hurried into the restaurant.
A short while later, Tang Xinig emerged supporting Ye Lin’er, who was loudly singing ’Two Tigers.’ The two bodyguards followed, each holding up an unconscious Shen Mumu and Tong Zhiyi. They all left the restaurant and boarded the RV.
Ye Xiu quickly returned to his car and followed the RV to a hotel.
Tang Xinig carried the now-sleeping Ye Lin’er into the hotel. The two bodyguards, along with Shen Mumu and Tong Zhiyi, remained in the RV.
Ye Xiu followed them into the hotel and went up to the third floor. He watched as Tang Xinig carried Ye Lin’er into room 305. He crept closer and listened at the door.
Inside the room were a man and a woman.
The man was tall and sturdy, built like a bear, and appeared to be in his twenties. The woman wore a baseball cap and a mask, hiding her face and age, but she was dressed impeccably and had an impressive figure.
"Sister Wei, I’ve brought this little bitch Ye Lin’er," Tang Xinig said obsequiously after carrying Ye Lin’er into the room.
The woman called Sister Wei was the one in the baseball cap and mask. She nodded. "Thank you for your hard work. Put her on the bed."
"Okay!" Tang Xinig quickly placed Ye Lin’er on the bed, panting as she stood before Sister Wei, awaiting further instructions.
"Just stand aside and keep quiet," Sister Wei said indifferently.
"Okay!" Tang Xinig quickly obeyed and moved to the side.
At that moment, Sister Wei said to the man, "Peng Fei, you can begin."
"No rush," Peng Fei said with a slight smile. "Ling Wei, you’re a big star and Ye Lin’er is just a student. Why are you doing this to her?"
"I’m paid to do a job. Do what you’re told and stop asking so many questions," Ling Wei replied impatiently.
Peng Fei shrugged. "If you don’t tell me, I’m not doing it."
"You..." Ling Wei, furious, finally relented. "There’s a reality show called ’I Got Lost in the Mountains,’ and it has a role for a ’pure and cute type.’ Among all the competitors, the production team felt that Ye Lin’er and I were the most suitable, but the Director ultimately chose her."
Peng Fei pieced it together. "So you had Tang Xinig get Ye Lin’er drunk and bring her here so I could take pictures of us in bed together? You’d use those photos to create a scandal for her, and that way, the show’s producers would kick Ye Lin’er out and choose you instead?"
"Exactly!" Ling Wei nodded and urged him on. "Hurry up. After this is done, I’ll give you another 100,000."
"Deal!" Knowing the reason and with an extra 100,000 on the line, Peng Fei readily agreed. He would have been willing to sleep with such a beautiful girl even if Ling Wei hadn’t offered to pay.
"First, cooperate for the photos, and then you can do whatever you want," Ling Wei said.
"Okay!"
Peng Fei nodded, quickly took off his clothes, and was just about to undress Ye Lin’er.
CLANG!
The door was suddenly kicked open.
The sound startled Ling Wei, Peng Fei, and Tang Xinig, who all spun towards the door.
Ye Xiu stormed in with a menacing air and casually shut the door behind him.
"Who... who are you?" Ling Wei asked in a panic. As a major celebrity, she couldn’t afford to be caught doing something like this. It would be the end of her.
Tang Xinig’s reaction was even worse. Her face turned white as a sheet, and her legs gave out, causing her to collapse onto the floor. She was sucking up to Ling Wei to get into the entertainment industry faster, which was why she helped her scheme against Ye Lin’er. If word of this got out, not only would her life be ruined, but she would also go to jail.
The entertainment industry really is filthy! Ye Xiu thought coldly. To compete for a spot on a reality show, Ling Wei would resort to something like this. He couldn’t imagine that it was even dirtier than the Underworld. He also felt a wave of fear in hindsight. If he hadn’t happened to run into Ye Lin’er at dinner, she would have suffered a terrible fate tonight.
"Well, well, looks like we’ve got a busybody here," Peng Fei sneered as he walked up to Ye Xiu. He grabbed Ye Xiu’s collar, cocked his head, and said in a thuggish tone, "Kid, playing hero is something that only happens in books and movies. Trying it in real life is risky. I advise you not to go looking for trouble!"
Just then, Ling Wei spoke up. "Peng Fei, he must have overheard our conversation from outside. We can’t let him leave here alive, or we’ll both go to jail. I’ll give you another million. Kill him."
Upon hearing the sum of one million, the thought of "going to jail" was instantly blocked from Peng Fei’s mind.
Most criminal acts in this world are desperate risks taken for money. Enough money can even turn a good person into a demon. Moreover, Peng Fei was just an impoverished, unemployed street thug with no moral compass.
One million yuan was more than enough to make Peng Fei’s head spin and convince him to do anything.
Ling Wei knew this well.
