"Yes. That is why I have come to you for help. Please, share this contract with the rest of us. In return, the Ring of Clear Skies is willing to submit to the Qinghui Territory and accept your authority."

Westheid raised an eyebrow and said:

"Pledging allegiance just like that? Without even discussing any terms?"

Elaine gave a bitter smile.

"I have no room to bargain. Without a stable supply of Demon Power, the profession of a Witch is meaningless. We wouldn’t even be able to maintain the power to protect ourselves. The Ring of Clear Skies would collapse in an instant."

In truth, Elaine didn’t need to be so pessimistic. According to the original timeline in *Poem of Destiny*, the Ring of Clear Skies only experienced some initial growing pains before quickly stabilizing and gradually developing into a regional power in the Borderland during the chaotic era.

However, back then, the Witches didn’t have a behemoth like the Qinghui Territory nearby. And faced with a proven, reliable channel like the Master of Extinction, taking a risky path would have been rather unwise.

’After gaining authority over the contract from Wan Qi, Westheid had been certain this day would come. He was now merely collecting his fated spoils of war.’

"Alright. I agree."

As Elaine watched with an anxious gaze, Westheid nodded lightly and said:

"The Ring of Clear Skies and the Qinghui Territory have built a deep and historic friendship in the past. The olive branch I’m extending—past, present, and future—is equally sincere and will never change due to shifting circumstances."

The man with black hair and purple eyes also stood up and extended a hand to Elaine.

"Come. I can establish the link within you right now."

Upon hearing his words, the black-haired Miss Witch cautiously placed her delicate hand in Westheid’s warm palm, which he then grasped firmly.

Westheid said with a smile, "Well, you know it now. You can even go ahead and praise Her. Though She is also a Celestial God’s Shadow, She is a truly great and compassionate being."

This was no joke. Having experienced Wan Qi’s battles over and over again in the Imaginary Space, Westheid’s respect for her grew by the day.

Though to this day, Westheid hadn’t managed to develop much romantic affection for her, his sense of worship and admiration was off the charts.

Still, seeing Elaine being so sensible, Westheid offered a smile in return.

"I’m planning to hold a grand celebration in the Holy Land today to commemorate the Qinghui Territory’s recent rise and development. My confidants who are currently in Su Yue will all be there. Hecate and the others will be coming too."
