"Take them to the training centre first. Ask my brother to teach them how to collect the energy in the crystal nuclei. It will be good if they can level up. But if they cannot, it’s fine as well. Just keep an eye on them," said Bai Meiyue as she arranged everything for the disabled ability users. "For the time being, you all can work in the greenhouse. Use your abilities to sprout the seeds; as for the rest of the time, you can work with the rest of the low-ranking ability users."
Bai Meiyue had no intention of sending these people out of the safe base. If they wanted to stay, then they could stay as long as they wanted, but they needed to work.

Bai Meiyue frowned when she heard that Lu Jingguo had come to look for her. She did not think that there was anything worth talking to with that man, but since he came to look for her, she had no other choice but to take a look. Lu Jingguo was a strong ability user, and she had no intention of causing a rift between him and her for the time being. Not when there was a zombie king aiming for her safe base. She could deal with him, but she certainly could not deal with Lu Jingguo if he decided to cause trouble for her.
"Is that so?" Though Bai Meiyue did not know what the man wanted to say to her, she still turned on her heels and followed Xiao Wu to the entrance gates. She wanted to see what the man wanted to say to her.
As soon as she arrived at the entrance gates, she could hear Lu Xiran shouting at her brother. "Have you lost your mind? It was the leader’s decision to stay at the mutated bug-infested safe base. What can Bai Meiyue do about it? Are you really going to force her into making a decision for you?"
When Bai Meiyue heard what the woman said, she seemed to have understood what was going on. Bai Feng probably stayed back at the safe base because of something related to Bai Xue and missed the chance to get on the plane, and now that there was no rescue operation running at the moment, Lu Jingguo had no other choice but to come to look for her. Of course, he came to look for her; he must be thinking of seeking her help once again.
Bai Meiyue did not say anything; she simply asked Xiao Wu to invite Lu Xinran and Lu Jingguo inside the safe base.
"How can you say that?" Lu Jingguo was quite upset with his sister. He knew that the woman was still upset with Bai Feng for going after Bai Xue, but Bai Feng had saved their lives countless times. How could they just ignore him when he is in trouble? Were they going to watch him die, even when they could help him?
He glared at his sister and said to her, "You think I am speaking too much, but the truth is that Leader Bai was the one who rescued the two of us. He is our saviour. If he had not saved our lives, then I am sure that we would have died four to five times now. How can you say that we should just turn a blind eye to his perilous situation?"
"What do you mean? Is it my fault? How many times did I tell him that Bai Xue was not a good woman but has he ever listened? Now that she has trapped him in the infested base, who can you blame?"
